KTM is showing strong signs of recovery in 2026, with motorcycle sales and revenue rising sharply during the first half of the year.
Bajaj Mobility AG, the parent company of KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles and GASGAS, reported a major improvement in its H1 2026 results. Motorcycle sales for these three brands increased by 91.9% to 89,004 units compared with the same period last year.
Motorcycle Revenue More Than Doubles
The recovery is also visible in the company's revenue figures.
Revenue from KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS motorcycles reached €579.6 million, up 109.1% from H1 2025. Overall group revenue increased by 65% to €701.4 million.
The second quarter was particularly strong. The three motorcycle brands sold 48,672 motorcycles in Q2 2026, a 71% increase compared with the same quarter last year.
India Adds to the Growth
India also played an important role in the overall numbers.
Bajaj Auto sold 58,568 motorcycles in India during the first half of 2026. When these sales are added to the KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS sales outside India, the group sold 147,572 motorcycles worldwide during H1 2026.
KTM's Financial Position Is Improving
The company has also made progress on the financial side.
Bajaj Mobility reported a positive EBITDA of €37.6 million for the first half of 2026, compared with a loss of €183.3 million in the same period last year.
More importantly, EBIT in the second quarter turned positive for the first time since the company's restructuring process was completed.
A Positive Sign for KTM
The latest results suggest that KTM and its sister brands are moving in a much better direction after a difficult period.
With motorcycle sales almost doubling and revenue more than doubling in the first half of 2026, the company now has a stronger base for its next phase of growth.
For riders and the global motorcycle market, the numbers are a positive sign that KTM is gradually getting back on track.
