Ducati has completed a historic 2026 World Superbike Championship season, with Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona winning all 36 races for the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team.
Ducati has achieved an unprecedented milestone in WorldSBK after finishing the 2026 season with 36 victories from 36 races. The Italian manufacturer’s factory team completed its perfect campaign at the final round in Jerez, Spain, on 18 October.
The achievement marks the first time a team has won every race in a World Superbike season, according to Ducati’s official announcement.
Bulega Leads Ducati’s Record-Breaking Campaign
Nicolò Bulega was the leading force behind Ducati’s remarkable season. The Italian rider secured 32 race victories during the 2026 campaign, finishing the championship with 726 points.
Bulega also won all three races at the season-ending Jerez round, completing a dominant weekend with pole position and three victories. His consistency helped him break the championship’s previous single-season points record.
The Italian finished the season ahead of his teammate Iker Lecuona, who secured second place in the final championship standings with 563 points.
Lecuona Completes the Perfect Record
Iker Lecuona played an important role in the team’s historic achievement. The Spanish rider contributed four victories, completing the team’s total of 36 wins across 36 races.
Lecuona’s performances gave Ducati another consistent contender at the front, helping the team maintain its unbeaten record throughout the season.
The final standings placed Ducati riders Bulega and Lecuona first and second, while Yari Montella finished third for Barni Spark Racing Team, also riding a Ducati.
A Special Tribute to Ducati’s Racing History
The final Jerez weekend also celebrated Ducati’s centenary. Bulega and Lecuona raced with special silver liveries inspired by the historic Ducati 750 Imola Desmo, which helped the manufacturer secure a famous one-two finish at the 1972 Imola 200 Miles race.
The design connected Ducati’s latest racing success with its long history in motorcycle competition.
What This Means for Ducati
Winning every race in a full WorldSBK season highlights the strength of Ducati’s Panigale V4 R, the factory team’s preparation and the performances of both riders.
The result also raises expectations for Ducati’s rivals heading into the next championship season. Maintaining this level of dominance will be difficult as competing manufacturers look to close the performance gap.
For Ducati, 2026 will be remembered as a landmark year: a championship title, a record-breaking points total and an unbeaten team campaign.
